AI Detector PDF provides a web-based tool that analyzes text extracted from uploaded documents (PDF, DOCX, TXT) or pasted text to estimate the probability that the content was generated by Artificial Intelligence (AI) models. The Service is provided in both a free tier and premium/paid tiers with additional features.

3. Accuracy and Limitations (Disclaimer)

You explicitly acknowledge and agree that:

• The Service’s scores should be used as one indicator among many, not as the sole basis for disciplinary, academic, or professional decisions.
• We are not responsible for any academic penalties, employment terminations, loss of contracts, or any other negative consequences resulting from the use of our detection scores.
• It is your responsibility to manually review and verify the context of any document flagged by the Service.

4. Intellectual Property and Document Ownership

Your Documents: You retain all rights and ownership to any document you upload to the Service. We do not claim any copyright or ownership over your submissions.

Zero Retention: Consistent with our Privacy Policy, documents are processed in volatile memory (RAM) and deleted immediately after analysis. We do not store your documents, nor do we use your documents to train our AI models.

Our Property: The Service, including its original content, features, detection algorithms, functionality, and UI design, are owned by AI Detector PDF and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

5. Acceptable Use Policy

When using the Service, you agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or bypass the detection algorithms.
• Automate requests to the Service (via bots, scrapers, or scripts) without prior written permission or outside of an official API plan.
• Upload documents containing malicious code, malware, or viruses.
• Use the Service in a manner that places an unreasonable burden on our infrastructure (e.g., Denial of Service attacks).

We reserve the right to block IP addresses or terminate access for any user found violating these usage rules.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS. • Your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service.
• Decisions made based on the AI detection scores provided by the Service.
• Any unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will post the revised terms on this page and update the “Last Updated” date. By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
